Reoccurring costume

(MaKayla)

There's just something about home-made costumes that are just awesome. This Eeyore costume was made by Jeremy's mom for Cayson back in 2002, I think.

So far, it has gone through all the kids. I'm not sure if Gabe will be able to wear it. It will be too big for him this year, and it might be too little for him next year. I guess we'll see.

Sorry, this picture is not so hot. It was take by our web cam a LONG time ago. But, you get the point.

Anyway, had this for dinner last night. It was REALLY good!! I found it here, which is where I find many of my recent recipes. I love this site. Thanks for introducing it to me Shanlie!!

Chicken Tortilla Soup
8 whole chicken breasts, cut into pieces
2 cans chicken broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 c. sour cream
1 can diced green chilies
1 jar salsa
1 T. (approx) taco seasoning
1 can black beans, drained

Cut 6-8 chicken breasts into pieces and place in a large crock pot.

Next, add all the other ingredients and mix together well. Cover with the crock pot lid and cook on med. for 6 hours or until chicken is cooked through. Depending on the consistency you like, you may add a little more chicken broth. Also, if you like it spicier, feel free to spice it up to your desired heat.

Check on it occasionally and stir.

When fully cooked, serve with grated cheese sprinkled over the top and crunched up corn chips.

What I did different - I just put in about 4 or 5 frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot with boiling water to almost cover them, and dumped chicken bullion over it and cooked on high from about 9 am till around 12 or 1. I then shredded the chicken, added it back to the crockpot, and added all the rest of the ingredients. I think I probably put a little more sour cream and taco seasoning. Like about 1/2. cup or sour cream and about 1 1/2 - 2 T. taco seasoning.

It is surprising how flavorful this is, with as few ingredients as it has in it, and it's way easy to make! Enjoy!
