What we've been up to

Well, we've obviously completed and survived the 2 week no dairy.  My youngest's skin looked really good after, although his scalp was still really dry, but his eczema had gone away everywhere else.  It was amazing.  I added cheese last week, and his cheeks are getting dry and really rosy.  I think I might try butter this week.  The next week I will add a small amount of milk in his sippie cup.   The problem is that he can down 4-6 full cups in a day, and I haven't found anything else that he will drink as well.  He likes the chocolate almond milk, but he doesn't like juice or water.  So, we'll see where we will end up.

He alo got an inguinal hernia fixed this last week.  Things went really well.

This is pre-surgery

He's playing with the temperature taker.  He got quite a kick out of it.  He sat there and tried to figure it out for quite a while.  We had a GREAT anesthesiologist.  Gabe really liked him, which was a major bonus for us.  They use most of the same anesthesia and pain drugs that we use at the clinic, so that was interesting to learn what they would do to the poor guy.

This is post-surgery.
He was purdy wiped out.  He came out of anesthesia quite well, and then promptly fell  back asleep.

It's rough to recover!

If only they could always look so innocent.  Look at those long eyelashes!!  I can assure you that my 3 younger children do not get their eyelashes from me!

Way to make it through the two weeks! That would be hard at our house too! Glad surgery went well. Kayden is probably going to have to get a hydrocele taken care of, but the idea of surgery scares me! Did you do it there in Moscow?
