Canada

So this weekend was my grandma's 80th birthday, and my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. How crazy is that? So, here is a picture of 4 generations of daughters. The girls were very tired and done for the night, can you tell? You can hardly tell that that's Kylee!

I went without Jeremy, which means that I got to drive up by myself, which was fine. Just a couple of things that I learned on the trip:

1. The big giant windmills are "just soooooo cute mom!"

2. Don't drink any water, because then you would have to use the bathroom, and to use the bathroom with an infant, a 2 year old, and a 4 year old all in the same stall with you just doesn't work.

3. Bring lots of extra binki's so you can keep handing them to your 2 year old to place in the infant's mouth, because he as discovered gravity.

4. When they say they gotta go, they gotta go!

5. Girls really can pee on the side of the road.

So, Grandma Howard got the girls these new "hats". Supposedly they're all the new thing, but with big flower on them, or ribbon threaded through. I was sorta skeptical, until we went up to canada. Oh, it's all the "thing" alright. Just about every girl I saw was wearing one. The big flower was the biggest hit. I think I might go with the ribbon.

These swings are the best! I have some amazing, fond memories of these swings. My Grandma has a really cool picture of one of my aunts climbing up to the top to fix or thread the rope when she was teenager. I think that makes these swings at least 35 years old or something. Sorry Aunt Terri if I am total off on the year thing and I just made you really old!

At least Cayson was with us on the return trip. He was constantly having to undo his seat belt to get Gabe's binki back in his mouth. Cayson is also terrified that when he does undo his seat belt, the cops are going to get him. It's a fight every time, and he about hyperventilates. Yes, this shot was taken at 70 mph while I was driving. Don't tell anyone, though. I might get my keys taken away from me!

I'm not sure what these round foot-stool things are, but I sure remember doing this exact thing on them when I was a kid. I think I remember getting yelled for doing it too. It's just too tempting to resist!

Kayla with Great Grandpa. They had a good time together.

This was the "trailer park" on the bottom lawn of Great Grandpa's house.

Tehee he, grandpa getting the "stubborn" look from Kayla. Me do it!! But, she did let him tie the shoelaces.
