Darn Good Beans II

Okay, I got a couple of requests for this recipe, and so here it is. This is my modified version, which I like better than the original. If you want the original, you'll hafta ask for it. It was found in Kitchen Keepsakes and more Kitchen Keepsakes.

1 lb. pinto beans
4-6 t. bouillon (beef or chicken)
2 lbs Polish sausage, cut up (you can use German sausage, or country-style)
3 T. Worchestershire sauce
1 jalepeno pepper, fresh
2 onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/8 t. garlic powder
1 1-lb. can tomato sauce
salt to taste.

I put the dried pinto beans in the crockpot with lots of water (about 8-10 cups, enough to cover the beans plus about an inch or more) in the morning and turn it on high. (about 8:00 or 9:00) Around 1:00 or so, I add more water, if needed, and then all of the other ingredients, and turn to low. I served it with Candria's sweet cornbread recipe and WOW are they ever good!!! It makes a FULL crock pot, so make sure you either like leftovers, or you invite over a couple of people!! ENJOY!!!
