Walla Walla

So, Saturday we went to Walla Walla to visit Alexis & Dan.  We had a blast.  Just a re-cap:  This is how our drives usually start:

My youngest girl loving the fact that we're going somewhere, my oldest girl lamenting the fact that we're NOT going to grandma's.  My oldest son just excited that we have a DVD  player in our car, and my youngest son just resigned to the fact that, once again, he is strapped into his car seat...forever.

Lucky for everyone, I don't have an "on the way home" picture.  Total melt-down, as usual.  Sometimes I wonder why we even try.

But then again, we would miss out on this awesome experience:

And maybe this one?

Okay, so there's this "lady" driving the wagon....with a pipe.  Not sure what to think about it.  It was quite interesting, to say the least.  Oh what experiences.  Seriously though.  Who creates a piece of art, adds very large tatas, and a pipe in the mouth?  At a park?  I couldn't stop staring.  I'm jealous, I guess.

Oh- and my oldest daughter stepped in fresh bird poop and it ended up all up her leg and all over her shoes.  quite fun.  Luckily I actually came prepared this time with some extra pants, just in case.  Never happens.  I was not a boy scout.

Yup.  Good times!  We've gotta do it again soon.

at first i thought it was a caterpillar with boobs.

clearly, a pioneer. i'm sure kayson can pass off some kind of cub scout requirement for correctly identifying it.

I absolutely love that you're jealous of her tatas. Just wait until one of you daughters looks at you, looks at the statue and informs you that she wants some like the statues and not yours, thank you very much (this sort of thing happened to a friend of mine once). :)
