PINK!!!

Kylee got her package from her Grandma today, and she got some really cute clothes, and so she had to model them. Kylee is my pink girl. Jeremy and I both HATE pink, but Kylee loves it. She told her other Grandma that she just wanted a pink watch. It sure made her happy all this pink.

Did I mention that both Jeremy and I hate pink? See the blue shoes? Jeremy bought them for Kylee while he was gone this past week. They're really cute!

On a funny side note, we went out for ice-cream the other day. As we pulled up to Baskin Robbins, 3 college guys pulled up too, and were headed in the store while we were trying to get unloaded. Kylee started to panic and looks at dad and says, "Hurry! Hurry! They'll take all the pink!!" Jeremy told her that he thought that there would be enough for them and her as well.

So, we booked it into there, and she looks up at the girls behind the counter and tells them that she wants the pink one. They thought that was funny. I picked her up and showed her that there were about 4 different pink kinds. To see her eyes light up is just so worth it.

Another funny about pink and Kylee, her dad asked her at the dinner table a couple of days before her birthday what she wanted, and she just looked at him and said, "Pink". Jeremy goes, a pink what?? And she goes, "pink walls, pink cake, pink watch." It was really funny. Where did she come from?? Alexis thinks there is hope for her and she will grow out of it. I sure hope so!!

On one last side not, for all of you who are interested, I ran my 18 miler today. That means there is only the 20 miler left before the marathon. We're almost there! I am wiped, and am ready to go to bed, but it's only 3:00 in the afternoon. Oh well. We're about ready to taper down, and we're excited for it. I'm in the stage where I can't eat enough, fast enough, all day. It's great...if you're an elephant!

I think it's so funny that you got a pink lover as hard as you tried to avoid it...! Way to go on the run! I make the kids clap and cheer if I make it to the mailbox (in front of our house) and back in a snow storm!
