Halloween

So, a couple of weeks ago we brought our pumpkins (3) from the garden to our front porch. We're not sure what happened to our pumpkins, but something sure did. They have...issues. Does anybody out there have any tips on pumpkin growing? Because apparently I could use some help! Anyway, our neighbor took pity on my kids, and brought over 3 very cute pumpkins from her patch (she grew 23 perfectly beautiful pumpkins.) And since it was the day before Halloween, and we had no vomiting in the house for 24 hours, we decided it was time to decorate the pumpkins.
Rugrat #3 takes her job very seriously. She always has. She is a very serious girl when she wants to be. She is the mother hen of the family. It is really quite comical. She is alwasy very concerned that things get done properly.
The finished results:
This is #2's pumpkin. If there was something to stick in it, she was all about it.

This is #3's finished result. If #2 couldn't steal it for her pumpkin, then it might as well go here.

And #1, the only one to brave the carving experience (mainly because #2 & 3 stole all of the eyes, arms, noses, mouths, etc) created a vampire. It was a lot of fun, and once again I am sold on the Mr. Pumpkin head things. Grandma, where can I find more of these?!?!!?! They are soooo cool!!! Anyway, all in all, it was a fun thing to do with our time. Especially since we have been cooped up in the house sick for far too long. It was great to break up the boredom.
